Serving State & Local Governments Since 1974

How Can We Help You?

For thirty-six years Gary Traylor and his staff have sought to share their experience and knowledge with the officials of Texas local governments to secure their share of the state and federal taxpayer generated funds necessary to provide improvements to the infrastructure, economic opportunities or quality of life available to their constituencies.

TRAYLOR & Associates is always trying to do more than just helping to get the community’s share of the “pie.” The TRAYLOR philosophy has been to respond when legitimate needs exist and a solution can be identified, but local funds are insufficient to complete the project in a timely fashion.

TRAYLOR & Associates does not lobby for their clients, but rather is an advocate for sound fiscal management and for insuring that those that are the source of taxes do not end up without the services that they should expect or demand.

In additional to securing funding alternatives, TRAYLOR & Associates also understands the intricacies of administering state and federal grants to insure that the local community gets what it is paying for, but can document best practices in measuring the reportable statistics that demonstrate compliance with reporting and verification requirements.

We do know how the systems function, and better we have relationships that can give us insights into how best to structure application to maximize their characterization to meet the anticipated criteria to be used in evaluating funding applications.

TRAYLOR & Associates works on a daily basis with engineering and architectural firms, contractors and governmental agencies to insure that compliance regulations and reporting are available to satisfy any project review process.

Although we do not go mining for money, we routinely review the Catalogue of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) to assure ourselves that we know of every single federal government grant and loan program that currently exists. There are more than a thousand different programs, all searchable at their website and allocated to several different federal agencies.

CFDA Statistics: Programs at a Glance

CFDA contains detailed program descriptions for 2,041 Federal assistance programs.
The following chart shows the program distribution for the top five issuing agencies.
